So here we go. I figured since so many friends have started this, it was about time I did too. We'll see how often I actually update it. I'm finally sitting down to do this after a busy day out on the town. The town, now that I'm a mom, is also known as tap class at the local community center, the library, and a last minute dinner at
GG's house.
GG is the kids' great-grandmother and going for a visit is always fun for Sarah. She knows that she will get apple juice in a special cup and plenty of attention from
GG and her grandparents, who usually join us. This evening was no exception. Mommy and Daddy let her change into her new, beautiful princess nightgown shortly after dinner so she could sashay around the room demanding that every single person look at her. Who knew that a simple nightgown could bring so much joy. I mean, it is pink. I guess just that simple fact is enough for my girl.
Will just continues to prove that no chair/ottoman/table/stool/pantry shelf/toy/Grandpa/
sister/Daddy, or Mommy for that matter, is off limits in the world of toddler climbing. Next up are the bar stools. Thank goodness they're pretty sturdy. At the rate he's climbing, he'll be up in them next week. Walking takes a lot of work and practice but climbing is as easy as pie for this boy.
Well, my bedtime is approaching, so that's all for this first attempt.
Coming soon..... a mother's day show, playing at the park with wonderful friends, a Cinco de Mayo party, and what promises to be the brilliant start of a tap dancing career. We'll just have to figure out how to turn that career into something to support Mom & Dad at the old folks home.
Goodnight everyone!
