Christmas

Finally, I get around to it. We had a lovely Christmas. The kids woke up around 6:15 and we had family over early. The great-grandparents were a bit late so the kids played with what Santa left them and then opened stockings. We had breakfast and didn't start opening presents until after 8am! The kids were wonderful about it. They played with Will's new Handy Manny tool bench for almost the whole time. We enjoyed a leisurely day of putting together toys and eating and just hanging out.

So here is Christmas in pictures:

Our lovely tree Christmas Eve before Santa arrived.

The lights on our house this year. This is the first year we've had a tree big enough to do this. We LOVED them. So fun to come home to a house all lit up. Love the new timers with light sensors so we didn't have to remember to turn them on and off and they didn't stay on all night.

My camera was on some odd setting and Andy grabbed these shots of the kids coming downstairs Christmas morning (still dark!). There was no way I could slow them enough to change the camera setting.

Sarah seeing her Girl Gourmet Cake Maker. She was super excited.
The only thing Will wanted for Christmas - GeoTrax. We had to drag him away from the box to open other presents. He would just sit like this and stare at his beloved GeoTrax box.

Will's new hat and mittens.

The kids playing with Will's new GeoTrax set.

Sarah's old and new Snap n Style dolls.
